The Hot Club of SRQ Quartet’s sound can best be described as a 21st century hybrid of the famous “Quintette du Hot Club de France.” The likeness of these two ensembles is the violin and guitar create the fire and magic that is so captivating. This music simply swings. Deeply rooted in the musical influence of the Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grapelli. We will transport you to your favorite Parisian Cafe and draw you out on to the dance floor with our lively rhythms. Keven Aland has cultivated special musical connections with each guitarist in the Hot Club of SRQ.
